The church is fighting for the word Allah to be used legally once and for all in its publications and also in its practice of the faith. Why we do it for i feel is because : our basic right to use any language
: no one can own words or any language
: the usage of Allah by Christians dates back before the time of Islam even before
Christianity itself
: This word is freely used by Christian Arabs
: It is a direct translation of God into Malay
: Freedom of practicing our religion in our own language (East Malaysian)
: the Catholic church has been using this word since it stepped foot in this land
with no trouble.
The government say that we cant use these words because it confuses the Muslims and also
infringes into their religious right. My question : Are your followers of Islam so stupid to become confused? What have you all been teaching them? What about our rights in practicing our religion? Is our religion not worthy of its right or is it a second class religion? Furthermore is it not Malay the national language so why not we use this word then?
Why are the Muslims afraid? Are they afraid that they would convert or just leave the religion? They cant leave the religion!! They can convert too!! So what are they afraid off??
Well it is very clear that in the utmost logical right mind beyond intellectualism and any higher school of thought that there is no wrong in Christians using the word Allah. Arab people themselves laugh at the Malaysian Muslims on how they practice Islam and this fight going on. This fight is childish, stupid and unnecessary and it is just tarnishing the image of this country further.
If the government wins then Malaysia is under the bad light of being an :
extreamist country
no freedom of religion
confirms further the legal subtle persecution
the intention of going further to curb freedom of religion
downfall of the non-Muslim trust on the government
further lost of respect towards the Islamic religion itself
1 Malaysia slogan can be used to wipe shitty ass
fueling more unpatriotism, disharmony etc etc
I dont see any positivity for the country and its people even the Muslims themselves if the gov wins.
That is there. Now even among the Christians there are those who ask the church to stop this court case and give way for the gov to win. What makes them say that :
they have low self esteem
they are cowards
they dont appreciate, apathetic to their basic fundamental rights
they are blind to the future consequences of a ruling which can effect the society
in Malaysia in the long run
they are allowing room and means and ways for themselves to be persecuted.
they are selfish (this ruling affect more of the East Malaysians)
they are already not patriotic that why they dont care what will happen here
Since those people are selfish then of cos either ways it would not effect them so please dont impose your selfish thoughts on those who are not.Same goes for the Muslims.
Such people are easily cheated and their lives are not worth living for they do not examine it.
Where is their sense of pride? Love and faithfulness of your faith and religion?
Is this how you stand up for your religion.
Be thankful that the church is going according to law to fight and not to the streets like the Muslims customary do things.

maybe they just dont want trouble. Well yes who wants it but is running away from trouble/problem a way to solve it?? If yes then u are utterly wrong simply it just does not work that way. If u dont solve trouble, trouble will dissolve u. This is a problem and what the church is doing is a way to solve it. The Holy Mother Church is not a coward and will not bow down to an sort of persecution and human weakness and demands. To solve a problem u need a solution not run away from it.
It is sad that many people nowadays are becoming such. Our future society i feel is already to the dogs and it is because how the government has brought us up (look out for the next post)
The Muslims should instead of fueling hatred towards the non-Malays by teaching the followers the wrong things they should take the opportunity to teach them about sharing. We share same words for the same God. Is it not sharing is caring? Islam does teach about sharing right? I also feel that many Muslims here dont mind the Christians here using this word. It is a disfavor for the Muslims fighting this issue.
We need to learn something from the Muslim side here. Look at them. They are so united when it comes to their religion and they really fight for it even if it is for the wrong reasons. (basically most for the time haha)Why cant we Christians unite this time and fight for this right reason! This is justice. We are fighting for justice and is this not also Jesus thought us. Sometimes peace can only be achieved through wars (physical or mental). On winning we would be able to appreciate the winning and treasure it.
The cartoon series of transformers episode 59 war dawn (see in youtube) sets a good example in this case. The new robots were questioning why they should battle the deceptions and at the same time save the humans. After an incident only they realized why, mere explanation by optimus and the rest did not work.
I despise people who say to give in to injustice and God will take care of it? How will he take care of it if it is not through you?? Do you think Jesus is going to come again to save the day like he did before?? When you die he would ask you in heavens gate besides saving your ass on earth what else did you do? Did you do what i did and saved another?
This Allah issue is a silly issue and yes it is sad that the church is brought into it. Well this is the sacrifice the church has to take to uphold justice. The sacrifice of a possible loss and shame and further criticism. The soldier asked Jesus 'SInce u claim u r the Son of God why dont you save yourself?' Now did Jesus did that? Ask yourself?
Fight for justice never mind if you loose for your failure in the fight is a stepping stone for greater final victory by others. If you did not fight and loose then u have deemed yourself not worth to fight for and live for too.

Mission Schools

It is sad to hear how our catholic schools are deteriorating as time goes by due to many reasons but basically due to money, lack of religious in the teaching field and also government biases. Sometimes i wonder why our church is not doing much to safe this schools like making its own rules and holding onto the management. I believe there are many capable Catholics there willing to work with the church in whatever they are doing however is the church looking out for them?? We always see old worn out people running parish councils and other ministries in the archdiocese with some sitting there for donkey years!!! There are many young people who want to work for the church but just dont make it an option because of life, future matters..
Why cant our bishop source out talents within our church, hire them, pay them good decent wages capable for sustaining basic life according to where they live for the church? You know some people need double jobs to earn a willing and at least the church can be an option as a workplace. Sometimes why just the lay arnt our priest all graduates therefore why not use them too according to their specialists to upbringing certain areas of church importance. If money is of concern with he grace of God i font think so. The Vatican has reported before of going into a surplus after 7 years running into deficit and yet they are surviving. And if the church is really giving out for the people and helping out then of course people would be of no doubt to come forward to help the church financially. Sometimes we should not take things to complicatedly but think simple basics and fundamentals. Its disheartening to look the church has always being redundant with time. It should be more proactive and not passive. There is more to gain then loose.
One might argue that the church is not a corporate body but still it cant forget and hope on people nowadays to work for free or with minimum wages. It is hard to live in today's world without money especially if you have a family. Furthermore if the church expects people to have some sort of unconditional commitment when working with the church then its very wrong for at one thought, the church would not be in anybodies list of cara cari makan. But why not think that once we bring people in then with the guidance of the priest in charge and in the spirit for working in the church perhaps people will then decline further wages and might work for free or maybe some will then thinking about joining the religious life?? Arn't we praying the prayer for vocations every Sunday. All pray and no work makes no point.
The church needs to make itself an option for the younger generation and therefore need to keep up with time.
Same for the schools - perhaps it should take the initiative to hold onto the management and also the hiring of teachers and principles together with the government paying them their salaries. Take a look on how many private run retarded schools are run. The teaches salaries are paid and the school board of governers pays allowances. Another way the school can take control is in selection of students and the number of them too so that in the end there would not be any flooding of students of a particular race in a school. There are many ways to work things out and there is no impossibilities. I urge the Bishops and the Superior generals of the the various religious bodies, professional lay people to come together sit down discuss and come up with a solid plan directed to save our schools. Some schools really serve the benefit of the people like in its location. Closing down a school will make a difference in peoples life as there is where they all grew up. Penang Church Land Issue
Well posted many comments here about this issue defending the Catholic Church.
Why has the church have to be the bad guy??? haish.....admire the church for standing ground of what they believe and stand for not being bent even a little towards the devil's work. What Jesus told Peter really rings in my mind and so it does in the great St Peter's Basilica.

Names
Do you live up to your name? (the meaning of it). I am curious how a name can influence one's life. When u get to know the meaning of your name early, then there is a possibility you might growing into your name but if u know your name only later in life when much of your characteristics are almost certain will it be according to your name naturally or not? If it is true that the name will identity who you will be in the future then dont give yourselves names of dogs or other animals. If it does not still dont name your kids with names of animals. Anyway if it does not how much then. If you read the meaning of names and look into the person most of the time there are some similarities, so how does it work?

Doubting Cristianity

ThAnk yOu @ SorRy
To beautiful and strong words which carry lots of meaning and effect to the person saying it and also the person who receives it.
These words when used with sincerity and honesty will leave positive impact on each party.
When u say sorry, for it to be meaningful you would have to forgive yourself 1st and try not to do it again. If it is done again then the sorry u said for the last time would not hold water already. More over if u keep on repeating that wrong then your sorry can be thrown out to the drain.
Now the word sorry when used properly can closen the gap of distance created in any bad situation. Close enough to forgive and become better friends. To actually say a correct sorry is difficult because u would have to come out clean and naked of your worng, humbled with humility to accept ones mistake openly. When it is accepted the person who forgives gets credit of being a humbled person himself and the person who says it would rise victorious in persona.
Now the catch is that when u have strip down naked u r vulnerable for attack and mocking and humiliation. At this time u can also be 'killed' if not by the person who you have wronged but from those around. Evil would continuously rake that mistake of your trying to bring u down as far a possible till u have lost all respect and dignity.
In fear of this people would not want to say sorry sincerely anymore moreover even say it. To prevent this also one would need to build up ego and ego distances people in a relationship. Furthermore those vultures prying on you for the sake of covering up their own low self esteem and wrong popularizes yours. Fearing this too people would not want to say sorry. So how now to say sorry in today's world filled with vultures. Dont you want to protect yourself?
Well rightfully you still must say sorry despite if u will be forgiven or killed as long you have forgiven yourself and also learned from the mistake.
Now here is another road. People say sorry just to clear things just because that word and melt a person. People fake their sincerity when they say it and the person wronged is made more into a fool if he does not realize it. So for such people should they be forgiven pula?? You would be taken for granted, made a joke off and what not. Such people also spoil this word just to get away with their wrong. Irony - supposed when some one says i m sorry one actually has gotten their punishment (coming 'naked') but here they actually get away from it haha. shit!!
Lets look at another road. If you don't forgive them wow! they will scold you for it! imagine that - already have been wronged now have to bow down to their sorry!! haha...weird...when they said sorry did they really mean it then?? If you dont forgive you are the bad guy now and they would get away with their mistakes. phew!!
This pushes you to the corner now where u need to decide if you want to stay alive...cool eh people nowadays. Some people dont care if you forgive them or not they would simply brush a sorry to you and walk away doing the same thing over and over again.
Remember history repeats itself and people will never learn. (Few do)

The old one say thank you to me the younger ones dont even in front of their own elders. How much thank you have you said how much have u received if u have given in the 1st place haha?? Many if not some dont even say thank you when it matter most for when u say thank you the same way u have said sorry u have become stripped naked, humbled to the giver. U sincerely appreciate the giver and remember the giver of the right they have done to you. People nowadays dont for if they remember they wud feel naked and lower then you - ego. They would prefer to feel that they have achieved something despite getting help all by themselves. If they dont they they fear people will think that they are weak and need help to achieve something. What adds to this problem is that that there are people who also think that way too.

Dont fear the ugly world do what is right insyah Allah God will reward you but u will have to be patient for that reward too. Let us not fear anymore and do GOOD not go kill around or screw around too haha. Do GOOD for a beautiful cycle will be what we want to live in.
