Protestants? Muslims?

we get the idea about Muslims - their religion is the best, the quran came from heaven and its the true words of God, other religions are below their feet. Only a muslim can go to heaven. The swallow the quran n hadith and carry out their lives. they cannot think out of the box or go deeper into the meaning of the Quran - interpretation is like strictly literally.
So r protestants just like that? think about it.
One good and fortunate thing is that there is no orders for war or jihad in the bible but oni love of God.
Now both Muslims and Christians say they are right and the other is wrong. What now?
Be Catholiclah we dont think at all that way.
- yes we believe our religion is the best but the other religion are also good and have its own benefits in its own merit and not of comparative reason.
The bible is a book compiled by writings of people who were inspired by God therefor we by faith assume that its message do lead us to salvation, God heaven.
We follow the bible according to the teachings of the church which God instituted tru Peter the rock as it is a church that grew directly from the time of Christ.
We believe to enter heaven is not by just being Christian but by doing good deeds morally right therefor all those who do good sincerely will go to heaven. For Christian a new tot i have agreed upon is more difficult for we have seen Christ but do not accept Him despite our good deeds....its tricky here.
We see the message of God in deeper and wider and all perspectives in this human world. (taking into account the banned St Gabriel 2010 calender).
also see previous post of the Catholicism triad.

People
God is Love - anything that goes against this then u r wrong. Jesus say Love ur neighbor, love ur enemy, love God.
Who is God to the rest - all religions in this world believe in a God who is the creator and it is this God, Jesus wants us to love.
Hinduism and perhaps few other religions have many Gods and worship idols however there is an entity they do believe as the creator.
yes the Catholics do not agree to such idol worship however beside evangelizing to them in means of showing ourselves as good Catholics we should not disrespect or in anyway look dwn on their religion.
It is by their free will for them to accept Christ.

Muslims - confused lot of people

Muslims are confused from the beginning - pity and forgive them.
Many can read their Quran in Arabic but unfortunately they dont understand wat they read. The only way they are to understand what they read depends on what their Imam teaches so if the Imam is a stupid fellow then there goes his congregation. However they are proud of being able to read the whole Quran (Khatam al-Quran)- shows their ability to memories. Unfortunately we still see a lot of rempits around.
There is written somewhere in the Quran that it is like a duty for Muslims to challenge other faiths and bring them to the 'truth' which is Islam. Therefor for the many Muslims i have dialogued with it is only one way .... no dialogue. They would ask you questions which no answer satisfies them except for the answer which they have set in their minds where we are wrong and they are right. They can go high and low digging and splitting ends of hairs in the bible to debunk us. But as they do that they loose the logic of it thus making their arguments unsubstantiated.
They have a superiority complex problem for if they fail in their 'jihad' the world will end and fear of that so they move to violence with an argument that they defend Islam as permitted in it although they are pathetically wrong.
There is nor room for faith growth, arguments, questioning and challenge in their religion so much so that whoever does it will be condemned and other non-muslims who do it people would have to die. The way they have been thought their religion is shut up and follow Islam is all correct other religions are fake and wrong and lower than Islam and the non-Muslims are infidels. There is so much of superiority they are know and are so much afraid if that when they fall they will fall hard.
Actually nobody bothers about the Muslims and their religion - it is of no point bothering about them. All the issues occurring in Muslim lands have got nothing to do with relgion but they love so much to equate it with Islam. All those problems is about politics economics human rights and so on.
But why they think that has a reason too - Islam has become part of their lives even on how to clean themselves have instructions so perhaps whatever we touch on them is like touching Islam. eeeeeeee .... They have become paranoid and fearful.
Look at Malaysia the gov belongs to them and yet they fear we will control them?????
There is many more to write about but there is a conclusion to this.
Muslims can get confused on the usage of Allah by non-Muslims due to their stupidity. Amen

Which Road to which end???

The ALLAH issue

The Christians won but now stay has been granted and it is brought to the court of appeal so who would win then?
Now there is sort of chaos ..... church burning...threats....demonstrations....etc...all just like smelly farts.
U c before no problem only after verdict got problem but before going to court of appeal. So perhaps these demonstrations are all staged to pressure the court for a win to Muslims? Highly possible.
Now if the Muslims win this case there are few implications
1) no respect to judiciary
2) the whole world will laugh at Malaysia
3) Racial sentiments would be used further for political gain and stay in power
4) Further increase in Islamic fundamentalism here
5) Malays have the the gov in the neck to do whatever they want which bad fellows
will misuse
6) USA wud mark Malaysia as a new terrorism factory so wud the terrorist themselves
7) 1 Malaysia down the drain
8) UMNO dug its own grave among the non-Muslims
9) UMNO knows how to stay in power - make Malays dumb and keep them that way
10) sure got sum more but that all i can think of for now haha

If the Christians win - peace
I wont stop here - this peace will only come after some hu has which wud eventually stop.
All the opposite of the above would occur. UMNO will know it is going to come to an end for them. Either way they are it is just if its sweet or bitter.

Houston - We have a ProBleM!

As i was debating and explaining with Muslims in this Islam vs Christianity debate i began to realize we are of 2 different worlds in ways of thinking and mentality which do not sync together.
Perhaps it is how each others religion has brought us up. It is hard to say they are closed minded
but yet what is that they are stubborn in understanding why we interpret as such the bible.
They do not except any explanations we give since they expect we interpret the bible like how
they interpret the Quran. The mentality. I gave them the link of Newadvent.org but i guess the English used is to high and long winded for them to read and understand. (its difficult for me too). Anyway the Christians always loose. Never saw a battle we won haha.

I am sure u know how they attack the Bible by basically saying its the most corrupted book ever
written and they are really good at using it against us exploiting its discrepancies. This such attack
on the Christian should be taken seriously as there are many who lack of faith and i feel many will fall
once they have been brainwashed. (not just becoming Muslim but the mere action of being a laps)
Why such an action from them? We too i feel are at fault. Unfortunately we have many versions of the bible and 2 major factions the protestants and Catholics and also through their sharing the way evangelism and conversion takes place which i think is more to the protestants (more vigorous). We have place the threat and the stepping stone for them to step on us. Secondly is our lack in understading the bible and its contents. I do not know if Catholics know that there are many differences and contradcitions in the bible as well as many other 'holes' in it (as said by the Muslims) (I knew all this so
i claim safety). When they know they feel that they have been fooled all this while and laps. Besides
building the faith i think we need to be made aware of this 'holes' in the bible so next time when some one points it out we would be like so what??. We need awareness, knowledge and faith in our cathechism to keep us in Christianity.
I also think that the Church should get some feedback from students about cathechism.

I do not know but for me by reading those verses in Job and John as pretty straight forward. They explanation suffice but they are stubborn. They really know how to twist and split ends of hairs and shut us up. Anyway the devil is smart. I shall post this up but they wont keep quite which i wont bother already.

I also wonder why the like to use Christianity is against Islam when US and other white man country attacks a Muslim country. Well for me its all in the devils game and as long as humans fuel the ideas of the devil it will exploit them and as usual finds the best enemy to go against us. Sounds poietic haha.

Followers @@@@@?

There are those who lay the foundation....leaders....trend setters.....and of cos they would have their followers. But followers there are those who share the idea of the leader...their objectives, aims, vision and mission. And there are those who follow because of wanting a hitch hike on the fame that come with it. Some follow the crowd (majority) but have some sort of idea and there are those who are blind followers (majoirty). oh yah some are just those who try to fit into some group.
Now these followers also have followers. So if the 1st degree follower is a blind follower how would be the 2nd degree follower?? As time and generations of blind followers increase the reason and rationality, mission, vision etc etc are lost. What is left is just the superficial identity of that path they follow.
Example - those some people who are depressed go into that Gothic black way and they feel happy doing it (they think so ... this is the source) Those who follow blindly follow their doings like dressing like them, acting like them but then they are not depressed people. They would say that they are just expressing their freedom of wearing cloths. Then they defend not to judge the book by the cover. True but what impression are you giving to society of yourself. We are not living and cannot live an individualistic life - human are defined as communal beings and there are reasons to come up with such a definition so no matter what you do will give a reflection of yourself. Do you want people to think you are bad or good? 1st impression counts although u can say not to judge. There is no judging here. An impression is not a judgment but a mere inference or hypothesis on which further experiments are done only then one will judge but we should notlah judge. We should instead learn to except them for who they are and try to work with them and with God's grace they might follow ur good works if you r good. They might get influenced by your goodness.
Anyway when we want to follow somebody or something try to learn its foundation and not follow blindly. This is just one example there are many complex example that can be due to this blind following with the greatest being extremism and terrorism.

We R Famili!!

The catholic church is one big entity/organisation etc etc watever u wanna call it but the general idea is that is simply massive. Of cos not all of its followers will agree 100% to ALL the teachings about Christ which is passed onto us through them. Therefor definitely there wud arise disagreements and fights. But what do we do when we are faced in such a situation? Do we run and hide? play dumb? fight and destroy? fight and win? compromise? come to an understanding? What do we do? Break away and set up our own church?
Now since is may be quite hard to comprehend the whole church into our minds lets look deep into one of the church concept of family. In a family got father mother sister brother and so on... . Do we fight? yes we do. What happens after the fight? Do we run away from home? (some do but what happens to them later........?) Do we say sorry, follow, come into terms?
Ideally there is compromise - we come into terms, we look for ways to be able to understand each other and thus be able to work together in the end despite the dispute.
Same thing goes for the church. If the church does something we feel its wrong there is no harm to point in out, fight for what is right and go on but how long do we continue to fight? Instead of pushing and campaigning of ones thought of what and how sumthing should be done we need to instead come into an understanding. The intention should be there to safe the church from further divide and shame. We need to look into how we can work together. We cant continue fighting or break away for just a misunderstanding or disagreement. Perhaps when something does not go the right way in the beginging with u on it there is always the possibility for it to become better. But what happens when u who are a beacon of change break away. Would it not come worse? and if it does then u have a hand in making it become worse.
This is on our part - for the other party's part they should also listen, understand and make way for the new ideas and suggestions especially of those who are at the front lines.
So guys fight for away where we can work together. Give and take. Diplomacy, compromise, understand then we grow even if it is slow. Better than fighting and not growing at all.

FAITH EMPOWERMENT

Theme Proposal for Inter Campus Gathering 2011

“Faith Empowerment”

Introduction
I joined 2 ICGs before and the themes that were chosen were consistent with the times and I manage to decipher a flow in the ideas from the both, from Our faith our freedom to Our religion the in thing. We have first learnt of choice and freewill to worship any faith and God (Christianity for us) and to defend that choice we have made. Then we have been enlightened to know that following religion and putting it as part of our lives as ok and a priority, nothing to be ashamed and feared off. Now having known of the freedom of choice and our choice of Jesus is the In thing what now? We now need the drive to put the faith into action and thus need the drive to do so in the right way according to what Jesus as though us. We also need to be strong on our fundamental basic foundation of our faith of Christianity being strong, ‘patriotic’, loyal and proud of it. Having strong basics will ensure our faith will stand strong.

Prologue
We are Christians. We are Catholics. We have faith in Jesus Christ. How do we put it into action? What does Jesus wants us to do? What are the teachings of Christ and of his mission of us in this world? Catholics nowadays do not know how to be Catholics. The mindset and mentality that catechism has thought us drifts away after confirmation and faith becomes something personal so much so it becomes a selfish tool. God is only to oneself and in the end we began to follow the God we made but not the God who made us. God is only there to answer our prayers and to do so we must continue to worship Him??? Is God a Master and are we his slaves? How do we bring back the sheep back to right camp? How do we become correct Catholics, but first we need to know what does it mean to become a catholic. Being a catholic and the essence of its fundamental believe is the triad of God Self and Community. Now the focus of community is eroding as people become more selfish and individualistic succumbing to the earthly wimps of materialism and so on. No though many claim to have Jesus in them but are they really following what Jesus wants us to do following His will? Jesus came down to serve and not to be served. He died for us, he lived for us. He came for all of us as he lived at his time with the community. So we too need to follow his reason for his coming, to serve. Many Catholics questions sometimes why is the church busy fighting for justice and peace, playing with politics, ‘busy bodying’ into every issue and they also question if all this part of the bible and the teachings of Jesus. Furthermore they say that the church is old fashion and outdated and is becoming redundant. Is it so? The church does not bow down to the pressures of society following its wimps and fancies but upholds Christ ways. Catholics say yes to uphold morality, justice and peace, equality, basically maintaining a civilization and we need to prove it to them and to ourselves too.
